Hemerocallis ‘Bandolero’ – 2026

Description

Hemerocallis ‘Bandolero’ is a striking daylily known for its large, vibrant orange flowers that bloom in midsummer, providing bold and long-lasting colour to borders and mixed perennial plantings. The trumpet-shaped blooms rise above dense clumps of arching, strap-like green foliage, adding height, structure, and texture to cottage gardens, naturalistic schemes, and formal perennial beds. Its nectar-rich flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, enhancing its ecological value as well as its ornamental appeal.

This cultivar thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Hardy and low-maintenance, it benefits from deadheading to prolong flowering and occasional division of clumps to maintain vigour. Hemerocallis ‘Bandolero’ is a reliable perennial, offering bold summer colour, resilience, and strong seasonal presence in a variety of garden settings.
