Description
Helenium ‘Ruby Tuesday’ is a hardy perennial admired for its vibrant red daisy-like flowers with golden centres that bloom from midsummer into autumn, providing a long-lasting and striking display. The upright blooms rise above clumps of bright green foliage, adding structure, texture, and bold colour to borders, cottage gardens, and mixed perennial plantings. Its flowers attract bees and butterflies, supporting both ornamental and ecological value.
Thriving in full sun with moist, fertile, well-drained soil, Helenium ‘Ruby Tuesday’ is low-maintenance and easy to grow. Deadheading spent flowers encourages prolonged flowering, while cutting back in spring maintains compact and healthy growth. Hardy and resilient, this cultivar delivers dramatic late-summer to autumn colour and pairs well with ornamental grasses or other late-flowering perennials.
