Description
Gaura lindheimeri ‘Sunset Dreams’ is a compact, bushy perennial known for its striking dark green-purple foliage and profusion of medium-sized pink flowers. This cultivar offers a more compact habit compared to the species, making it ideal for smaller garden spaces, containers, or as a vibrant border plant. The plant’s graceful, airy appearance adds movement and texture to garden designs, while its long blooming period from late spring through autumn ensures extended ornamental interest.
Preferring full sun and well-drained soil, ‘Sunset Dreams’ is drought-tolerant once established and attracts pollinators such as bees and butterflies. It requires minimal maintenance, thriving in a variety of garden conditions. Regular deadheading can encourage prolonged flowering and maintain a tidy appearance. This cultivar is a reliable choice for adding colour and movement to sunny borders or patio containers.
