Echinacea purpurea ‘Butterfly Kisses’ – 2026

Description

Echinacea purpurea ‘Butterfly Kisses’ is a hardy, herbaceous perennial admired for its charming, pale pink daisy-like flowers with prominent central cones that bloom from mid to late summer. The upright flower stems rise above clumps of coarse, dark green foliage, adding height and architectural interest to borders, cottage gardens, and mixed perennial plantings. Its nectar-rich blooms attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, supporting garden biodiversity.

Thriving in full sun with well-drained, moderately fertile soil, Echinacea purpurea ‘Butterfly Kisses’ benefits from deadheading spent flowers to maintain a tidy appearance and encourage prolonged flowering. Hardy, drought-tolerant, and relatively low-maintenance, this cultivar provides soft summer colour and vertical structure, making it an excellent choice for sunny borders and pollinator-friendly plantings.
