Description
Dicentra ‘Burning Hearts’ is a hardy, herbaceous perennial prized for its distinctive, heart-shaped, bright pink flowers with white tips that bloom from late spring to early summer. The pendant blooms hang gracefully from arching, dark green foliage, adding romantic charm and movement to shaded borders, woodland gardens, or mixed perennial plantings. Its nectar-rich flowers attract bees and other pollinators, enhancing garden biodiversity.
Thriving in partial shade to full shade with moist, well-drained soil, Dicentra ‘Burning Hearts’ benefits from removing spent flowers to maintain a tidy appearance and prolong flowering. Hardy and low-maintenance, it offers reliable early-season colour and textural interest, making it an excellent choice for adding elegance and charm to woodland-style plantings and shaded borders.
