Dahlietta Whitney Bedding Plants

Description

Bred specifically for a compact, bushy habit, Dahlietta Whitney is a dwarf tuberous perennial that creates a dense mound of classic green foliage topped with fully double blooms. Because of its tightly controlled size, it is incredibly well-suited for container gardening, offering maximum visual impact without sprawling out of its designated space.

For the best results, provide a rich, fertile potting mix and ensure the container is placed in a bright, sunny location. Keep the root zone evenly hydrated by watering whenever the top layer of compost feels dry to the touch, and frequently pinch off spent flowers to redirect the plant’s energy into producing fresh growth.

Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
