Chokeberry ‘Viking’

Description

Viking Chokeberry is a robust shrub that offers year-round interest with its seasonal foliage and edible berries. In spring, it produces clusters of white flowers that attract pollinators. These flowers turn into glossy black berries by late summer, which are rich in antioxidants and ideal for making preserves and juices. The foliage transforms into a striking orange-red in autumn.

This shrub can grow up to 300cm tall and wide, making it suitable for hedges, screens, or as a focal point in the garden. It thrives in moist, well-drained soil and prefers full sun to partial shade. Regular watering, especially during dry conditions, helps maintain its vigor and berry production. Viking Chokeberry’s combination of beauty and functionality makes it an excellent choice for any landscape.
