Bountiful Apple

Description

Bountiful is a reliable and popular cooking apple known for its heavy cropping and attractive, well sized fruit. The tree forms a neat, upright to spreading habit with healthy green foliage and produces pale green apples that may develop a light flush as they mature. When cooked, the fruit softens readily into a smooth, pleasantly flavoured pure with a balanced acidity, making it ideal for pies, crumbles and sauces.

In spring, Bountiful is covered in abundant white blossom that is highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, supporting biodiversity in the garden. It grows best in fertile, well drained soil and a sunny position, where it delivers consistent yields with relatively low maintenance. Well suited to UK gardens and allotments, this variety combines ornamental appeal, ecological benefit and dependable performance.
