Astrantia major ‘Red Promise’ – 2026

Description

Astrantia major ‘Red Promise’ is a striking perennial that adds a touch of elegance to any garden. Its rich red flowers, surrounded by dark red bracts, create a dramatic contrast against the mid-green, deeply lobed foliage. This cultivar forms compact clumps, making it ideal for borders, woodland edges, or shaded garden areas.

Blooming from late spring to early autumn, ‘Red Promise’ provides a long-lasting floral display that attracts pollinators and adds texture to garden compositions. With its low-maintenance habit and vibrant colouring, it is perfect for adding interest and structure to mixed perennial plantings.
