Alstroemeria aurea ‘Orange King’ – 2026

Description

Alstroemeria aurea ‘Orange King’ is a vibrant perennial prized for its clusters of bright orange, lily-like flowers with subtle markings that add a warm, tropical touch to summer and autumn gardens. Blooming from mid-summer to early autumn, the trumpet-shaped flowers emerge in abundance, attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies while creating a striking display in borders or containers. Its arching, strap-like leaves form a dense green backdrop, enhancing the impact of the vivid blooms. Easy to grow in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade, it responds well to regular watering and occasional feeding. Long-flowering and low-maintenance, this variety is excellent for mixed borders, cut flower arrangements, or as a bold focal point in temperate gardens.
