Allium senescens ‘Pink Planet’ – 2026

Description

Allium senescens ‘Pink Planet’ is an attractive ornamental onion known for its compact, clump-forming habit and striking pale pink spherical flower heads that rise above fine, grassy foliage. Blooming in early to mid-summer, the flowers attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies, adding colour and interest to rock gardens, borders, or container plantings. This variety is hardy and low-maintenance, thriving in well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade. Its tidy growth habit and long-lasting blooms make it ideal for adding delicate seasonal colour without overwhelming other plants, providing both texture and charm in small garden spaces.
