Alchemilla mollis

Description

Alchemilla mollis, commonly known as Ladys Mantle, is a charming perennial that provides excellent ground cover with its soft, scalloped green leaves. Delicate sprays of tiny yellow-green flowers appear from early summer to late summer, adding a subtle and airy quality to garden borders, pathways, and cottage garden settings.

Thriving in moist but well-drained soil, Alchemilla mollis grows well in full sun or partial shade, making it a versatile addition to any garden. It is easy to maintain and can tolerate drought once established. The flowers complement other summer blooms and are often used as filler plants in mixed beds and borders.

Perfect for naturalistic planting schemes, Alchemilla mollis is excellent for edging paths and containers. Its foliage catches raindrops, creating an attractive beaded effect. The flowers also make a lovely addition to floral arrangements, bringing a soft, natural look indoors.
