Bramley 20 Apple

Description

Bramley 20 is a classic English cooking apple renowned for its large, firm fruit and reliable cropping. The tree develops a vigorous, spreading habit with healthy green foliage and produces green-skinned apples that turn slightly yellow as they mature. The flesh is crisp and highly acidic, making it ideal for cooking, producing a light, fluffy texture in pies, sauces and crumbles.

In spring, the tree is covered in abundant white blossom that attracts bees and other pollinators, supporting garden biodiversity. It grows best in fertile, well drained soil and a sunny position, where fruit can fully develop its flavour and size. Well suited to UK gardens and allotments, Bramley 20 combines ornamental appeal, wildlife value and dependable, high-quality fruit production.
