Scabiosa ‘Kudo White’

Description

Scabiosa Kudo White, commonly known as the Pincushion Flower, is a charming perennial that brings elegance to garden borders and containers. Its compact, clump-forming habit is adorned with bright green leaves, providing a lush backdrop to the profusion of white, pincushion-like flowers that bloom from June through October. These delicate yet striking blooms not only add visual appeal but also attract bees and butterflies, supporting local pollinators.

Thriving in well-drained, neutral to alkaline soils under full sun, Kudo White is well-suited for UK gardens. Its extended flowering period offers long-lasting interest, making it a valuable addition to cottage and informal garden settings. This hardy perennial is also ideal for patio containers, bringing its graceful presence to smaller spaces.

For gardeners seeking continuous summer colour, Scabiosa Kudo White is an excellent choice. Regular deadheading will prolong the flowering season, while the plant’s compact size makes it suitable for various garden applications. Additionally, the blooms make lovely cut flowers, allowing you to enjoy their beauty indoors.
