Topaz Apple

Description

The Topaz apple is a late-season variety known for its crisp texture and tangy, aromatic flavor, with a unique tartness that mellows in storage. Perfect for fresh eating, baking, and juicing, Topaz is typically ready for harvest in October. This variety is well-regarded for its high resistance to apple scab, making it a great choice for organic gardeners and those seeking a low-maintenance tree. While it requires a pollination partner from Groups 2-4, Topaz is adaptable to various garden sizes, reaching up to 4 meters (13 feet) on dwarfing rootstocks. With the RHS Award of Garden Merit, Topaz stands out as a reliable and flavorful addition to any home orchard or garden.
